COVID-19 UPDATE – MAY 7, 2020
We hope you continue to stay healthy and safe! We are working on new guidelines to protect everyone and the board of directors passed a specific policy, “COVID 19 Pandemic Prevention at Service Sites”, which you can access by clicking here. A procedure, which we are currently practicing and fine tuning, will be posted once it is finalized.
We ask that you or the person you support start to prepare for the new service “normal” now. Services will be very different. Wearing a mask will be a requirement, understanding that for some this may not be possible. Social distancing will be practiced and “imposed”. There will be no hugging, handshakes, fist pumps, etc. and physical contact of any kind will be limited to what is necessary however completed with the utmost respect. We understand that this is a process and will be providing support around these new measures.
We require as much notice as possible if your are planning to return to service. To ensure the safety of all, we may have to limit the number of people returning on any given day to ensure the COVID 19 Pandemic Prevention at Service Sites procedure works and keeps everyone as safe as possible. Please contact the area supervisor or manager directly.
Our great staff continue to try and check in with individuals receiving services weekly, to see if there is anything we can do to help. Again please do not hesitate to reach out. We will try our best to assist within the current constraints. Please also feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions. Take care and be safe!
